The date of the Church Crookham and Fleet Garden Society talk by Gillian Taylor at the Crookham Village WI Hall, GU51 5SJ ‘For the love of roses’ is Monday, February 26th 2024. 7pm for 7.30pm.

Gillian is a member of the Historic Rose Group, Auricula Society, Hampshire Gardens Trust, Plant Heritage, and several local garden clubs and horticultural societies.
Gillian is an enthusiastic gardener and plants woman with a passion for roses.
This is the story of how Gillian became a of lover of Roses, so that from having only two a few years ago she has progressed to growing around 250 varieties in her collection.
The talk will discuss the diverse types of Rose that are available, where to buy them, how to use them in various garden settings, where to see them, their care and suggestions for companion plants to use with them.
